I don't generally follow meta and I pick my hero based on what I feel like is good/want to play in a particular game.
If captaining, I'm very capable of giving you ideas of what we need in our draft, but I would never pressure someone into a pick they're uncomfortable with or just don't want to play for whatever reason.
